Teacher's Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the Lord a child to keep

A child that we can teach and love

A child that we can hold and hug

A child that will not go away

To another family at the end of the day

A son or daughter of our own

That we can tend to til their grown

In Jesus' name.
