"What we need to do is go to our source of knowledge and understanding - GOD'S WORD!
Proverbs 3:5-6 (Amplified)
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding, in all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and he will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
In this scripture lies our answer. Lean on God for emotional support, trust Him that He knows what He's doing and be confident that He'll answer our prayers. STOP relying on our minds for the answers, we have no clue how God will bring our deliverance to pass. We need to STOP TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT! God loves each one of us, just as much as another son or daughter--even in the CA family. We're not in a POPULARITY CONTEST! No one is better than someone else and we're all praying to God for the same answer--to become parents. We don't know what God's doing for/in each of our lives. I may need more work in 1 area of my life that might not make sense to me or you, but God knows what's best for me. He also knows how to prepare me to be the best parent I can be. WE SHOULDN'T ALLOW our emotions to mean more to us that what God's doing in our lives. It's not God's will for us to be anxious, worried about who gets contacted, who receives a call from a birthmom, who gets "matched" first or last… We all want our "match" to be joyful, wonderful and blessed by God. When a birthmom quits contacting someone, do you think that's the only birthmom/baby that God's working within? God has more going on than just 1 pregnant birthmom--don't ya think?
God may have to maneuver some things around that we don't know about in order for our answer to come to pass. The reality of things is always bigger than we can imagine. Maybe our birthmom is pregnant already, maybe she's not, but STOP FRETTING over it. God will deliver as long as we continue to trust in Him. Each of us will enjoy the roller coaster ride more, if we let that sink in. I love our CA family, but I won't join in with sad droopy feelings. I can't afford to let the devil into my life and rob me of God's peace. Getting sad/discouraged is like a beautiful set of French Doors that are open and so inviting to enter. BUT they are false, faux French doors to a garden of thorns and thistles. I chose to have on the doors of my house--solid steel doors with 20 deadbolt locks. The devil and his tricks aren't getting into my mental house and wreck havoc with my thoughts. We shouldn't allow the fiery darts of others to steal our joy. The joy of the Lord is our strength. This is a journey we're on and we're all in this together. Each of us wants to hold our baby in our arms ASAP. So enjoy the time now, because when Jr. or Jr.-ette comes along, we'll spend our every waking moment with our baby. Then we won't care about a vacation or a bunch of projects. We'll be living witnesses for others to learn about God's faithful deliverance. What a day that'll be--keep that reality and hope in your thoughts!"
