WE DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

"…two men lived in the 18th century. The first was Max Jukes, an alleged profligate and moon-shiner. He never went to church and married a woman of like mind. The second was Dr. Jonathan Edwards; a godly minister who was credited with the Great Awakening through his sermons. He also married a woman who shared his philosophies and faith. Of the Max Jukes' 1, 026 descendants: 300 died prematurely, 100 were sent to prison, 190 were prostitutes, and 100 were known drunks. Of Dr. Edwards' descendants: 300 were preachers, 65 were college professors, 13 were authors, 3 were congressmen, and 1 was vice-president of the United States." (Train up a Child by Rolf Zettersten)
What we teach our children and the prayers we pray for them and for others have an impact immediately and for generations to come. The constant training, the discipline, the instruction of God's Word, and the continued prayers that we offer do make a huge and indefinable difference.
Are you willing as a Christian to submit your heart and will to the word of God? Are you willing to teach His Word with consistency, by example, and to speak the truth in love?
Parenting is a privelege and a responsibility.
In Christ Jesus you have the ability to be God's best parent.
The question we should ask ourselves each day, that affects generations to come is...
