PRAYER WARRIORS
A term that refers to individuals that are committed to prayer. People that pledge an allegiance to fight spiritual battles with spiritual weapons. These are born again ones that are diligent to intercede for the needs of others. Christians that respect, believe, and exercise their right to place petitions before our great God with boldness, expectation, and confidence that such believing pleases Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
Such heart felt conviction cannot be bought, sold or bottled for profit. No value or price can be tagged onto the immeasurable benefit of prayer. AND prayer warriors are the best. They have a dedicated heart to serve and to bear one another's burdens. They have a concentrated desire to take God at His Word and to follow His command, "Pray without ceasing." (I Thessalonians 5:17)
These are folks that you can count on in the trials, the challenges, the difficulties, and even the small pinches of life.
At Christian Adoption, we have a team of such warriors. Many of these warriors will never meet each other--in this lifetime. Nor will they know the names of all the others in this specialized spiritual army. We have had believers ask us to become such prayer warriors to help others in the adoption process. (Many of these people have never or will never have direct involvement in the adoption process--except in their intercessory prayers for those associated with our ministry.)
Warriors like these children of God believe the promises of God and His admonitions.
How truly thankful we are for these unique, these committed, these loving brothers and sisters in Christ that work for Him and assist us in helping others in the adoption process.
Christian Adoption is humbled, is blessed, and is amazed by the love of God demonstrated by these prayer warriors.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of believing, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (Ephesians 6: 10-18)
