How I long to see your face, touch your beautiful skin

Hold you in my sweet embrace.

How I long to look at you, watch the special things you'll do

As you grow to be anything you want to be.

I can imagine it now, you running all around

Checking out the world with innocent eyes,

Not a care in the world, just a precious boy or girl,

Full of thoughts and many questions why.

Oh Baby if you only knew!

How much your mommy and daddy are going to love you,

I know you'd come into this world wearing a smile.

And if it was your choice to make, you would come to us today,

But God has a plan for us to wait awhile.

There will be a day when you come to me and say,

"Mommy I scraped my knee, Will you kiss the pain away?"

And I can see you with your dad walking hand and hand together,

Those times will be something special that he will always treasure.
