God's will is so beautiful, even when we struggle against Him, He is forming us into a new pot-shaping us as HE sees fit. I don't assume to understand what God is doing or why, but I do believe. "Oh, the depths of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God-how unsearchable his judgments and his plans beyond tracing out-who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him? For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! AMEN." Rom. 11:33-36 We're so incredibly thankful for our birthmom, for the prayers of the CA family and now for our pregnancy! We're blessed beyond reason! We've been thinking a lot about the "Is the fee worth it?" We were often asked that question when we "matched" after being online for 36 hrs. People actually said "It's too bad you spent all that money only to get matched the next day-maybe you should get a refund for the other 364 days." Does that even make sense? Finding out that our baby was on the way was priceless. No amount of money could compare with the awe, the joy, the elation, and the overwhelming praise we felt and feel. To have the CA family praying for us without knowing all of our needs has eternal value. Finally to have had 3 miscarriages/yrs. of trying and we're pregnant-what's that worth? God is extravagant! He is the God of the UNIVERSE! He is creative, He is abundant, He has a sense of humor and His will is so much infinitely more amazing than ours! I can't think of a word better than extravagant. We've also been thinking about "What if God had given us our way?" Life would've been so much different-not for the better! We would've had baby years ago, but I would've had to work full time to pay for our life. My husband wouldn't have gone for the "dream-job" he has because it would've been too risky. We wouldn't have moved to our home that we so enjoy, we wouldn't have seen the amazing, earth-shattering ways God moves. We wouldn't have seen the generosity, the love of friends and family. We wouldn't have found Christian Adoption and witnessed again and again the awesome power of God. His delivering power when His people pray--amazing results when His people pray. We'd never met our birthmom-she's a friend and sister for life-a Christian I admire and love. We wouldn't have our daughter on the way-a child I love more than I could've ever imagined-we could go on and on. His plan is SO MUCH BETTER THAN OURS! Even with miscarriages, even the waiting, even with tears, loss, pain and the spiritual struggles--GOD IS GOOD-ALL THE TIME! God has given us twins-14 weeks apart! As our birthmom said "These babies will be twins-different lineage-but one family". Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!
