Written by Deborah.
"I believe God will help me, but He hasn't answered my prayers so far; I don't think He will."
"We're ready to adopt a child, but we've told God not to answer our prayers until after our vacation."
"We want a child that'll look just like us and we've told God, but we want Him to bless us."
"We're so excited to adopt a child, but we don't want to "match" before my surgery."
"We want to adopt a child and we know God will answer our prayers, but we don't have any money for legal fees."
As Christians we should manage our tongue and our confession.
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. James 3:10
Do all things without murmurings and disputings. Philippians2:14
but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29b
We're instructed throughout God's Word to speak words of life to one another.
We're instructed throughout God's Word to speak His truth, to believe His promises, to live in His righteousness.
Our Christian Adoption Family believes in God's deliverance in every area of life, including adoption.
If we don't believe God will answer our prayers, then we need to learn about His promises before we seek a Christian Adoption.
If we have health challenges, we need to address them before we pursue a Christian Adoption.
If traveling on vacation is a priority, then go and when you return begin a Christian Adoption.
If finances are lacking, then work to receive God's abundance before starting a Christian Adoption.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels. Proverbs 1:5
As Christians we should confess God's Word, believe His promises, and anticipate His deliverance.
As Christians we should follow in the faithful steps of Abraham, the father of believing.
and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in believing, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Romans 4:17-21
What people say and what they they believe, are often very different.
May our Christian Adoption Family continue to glorify God by declaring His Word.
