To be witnesses for Him, we need to study our source for knowledge and truth - GOD's WORD!

Proverbs 3:5-6 (Amplified)

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding, in all your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him, and he will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Herein lies our answer! Lean on God for emotional support and trust Him. Trust that God knows what He's doing and remain confident that He will answer your prayers. Stop relying on your thoughts for answers; you don't have a clue how God will bring your deliverance to pass! We need to stop trying to figure it out!

God loves each one of us. As His children we are all equal in His sight--even in the Christian Adoption family. We're not in a popularity contest or in competition with one another. No one in Christian Adoption is better than someone else. We're all praying for God's answers to become parents.

We don't know how God will teach us. I may need more work in 1 area of my life that may not make sense to you, but God knows how to reach our hearts. God also knows how to help me to become the best mother for the child He gives to me. It's not God's will for us to be anxious, worried about who gets contacted first, who gets "matched" first or last, or what kind of relationship we each have with our birth parents. We all want our "match" to be joyful, wonderful and blessed by God. When a birthmom loses contact with a couple, do you think that's the only birthmom that God will work within to find you? God has more going on than just 1 birthmother--don't you think?!

We may need to wait for circumstances to change in order to receive our answers. God's deliverance is always greater than we can imagine. God will answer and He will deliver us as long as we continue to trust in Him. I love our Christian Adoption family, but I won't contribute sad droopy feelings. I can't afford to let the adversary rob me of God's peace. Getting discouraged is like walking through a set of faux French doors that lead to a garden of thorns and thistles. I choose to have solid steel doors on my mental house. I refuse to let the fiery darts of doubt, worry, and fear to steal my joy. In Christian Adoption we're on this journey together and we care for one another. Each of us wants to hold God's gift of a baby in our arms ASAP.

Try to enjoy your time now, because when Jr. or Jr-ette comes along, you'll spend every waking moment with your baby. Then you won't care about vacations or projects.

Then, we'll all be living witnesses of God's faithful deliverance!
