SIMPLY: DEFINED

No matter where we are in our station in life, we face the same types of challenges.
No matter what we’ve been through in our standing in life, we face the same kinds of obstacles.
No matter who we are in our position in life, we face the same variety of hurdles.
Doubt, worry and fear. Aches, pains, and sickness. Need, lack, and want. Sorrow, bewilderment and grief. Frustration, confusion and jealousy. Resentment, anger and lack of forgiveness. These are the challenges, the obstacles, and the hurdles of the world that can defeat us—if we surrender to them.
Within our Christian Adoption Family, we collectively face the ways of the enemy, which are designed to discourage and to defeat us. We have choices as to how we will respond to these blinding tricks of the adversary.
They are blinding, because they come from the god of this world.
II Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
But we, through Christ, have overcome the world.
Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
They are tricks, because as a roaring lion he tries to scare us.
I Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
But we, through Christ, walk without fear.
Hebrews 13:5,6
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we my boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
They are of the adversary, because he comes to steal, kill and destroy God’s people.
John 10:10a
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
But we, through Christ, can live a more than abundant life.
John 10:10b
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
We, God’s people and God’s children, must choose to speak His Word. His Word will be contrary and in direct opposition to the ways of the world. But it is through His Word that we will become free, and free indeed.
John 8:32,36
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
In our Christian Adoption Family, we have a responsibility and the opportunity to love, serve, give and forgive one another.
Hebrews 10:23-24
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.
No one is forced to become a part of this ministry; therefore all who become a part of Christian Adoption, are an integral part of Christian Adoption.
We are part of the body of Christ and members in particular.
Corinthians 12:14,18
For the body is not one member, but many. But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
The called of God, the believers within Christian Adoption, stand united.
