About Us

We have been blessed since we met each other and married in 2000. We have 2 daughters, Isabelle (5) and Madeline (2). Isabelle was a “surprise” gift from God who arrived about a year after we were married; Madeline was a planned gift from God who came with a lot of “surprises”! Although we’ve experienced countless numbers of hospital stays and surgeries to repair Madeline’s cleft palate, we have become stronger and more unified. We thank God for our daughters and Madeline is a medical miracle. We have been advised to not have any more biological children, but we both want a large family, our nursery is ready, and we both love kids. Parenting children is our passion and we love to laugh!

Our Home

I’m a stay at home mom and I love it! It’s fun to do arts and crafts, play with the girls, and be Isabelle’s school class mom. We have fun hiding Daddy’s ice cream and playing with soap crayons or squirt toys in the tub. Hank wakes up very early in the morning to spend time with the girls before he leaves for work. Then he loves to wrestle with them when he gets home from a day at the office. Hank grew up with 3 brothers, so lots of floor tumbling and rolling just comes naturally. We don’t sweat the small stuff. We have double bounce contests on the trampoline, eat outside often, bike to the beach, play with our dog Maggie Mae, cook on the grill, and we love to be together. Our house is clean, but only neat while we’re sleeping!

Our Future

Hank and I were both raised in the South and we plan to return there in the next few years. Education is very important to us—academically, morally, and socially. We don’t look for the “the most popular school in town” but rather for a school that will enforce our family values. We’re raising our children to know the love of Christ and we try, to the best of our abilities, to be excellent role models.

Experienced Parents

We have witnessed God at work in our lives. From my life changing adoption at age 20, to events surrounding our wedding cake to the many God blessed moments of surgical crisis; we have seen the hand of God upon our lives. We are blessed in so many ways, but we know we have so much more to give. We truly want what is best for your child, and we can offer emotional assistance through outside counsel, if this would be helpful to you. We’re not seeking any child, but the only the miracle that God intended for us. Thank you for reading our letter.
