Hello! We are Tom & Misty from Oklahoma!

Thank you for choosing life for your baby! We believe you have selflessly chosen to put your baby first and for that we are grateful. We’re sure it’s a difficult time for you and we admire your conviction.

We met at a birthday cookout in 2001 when we both moved back to our home town. Tom’s brother introduced us and once the sparks flew...we’ve been inseparable ever since! We have been married for almost 6 years and it’s been an amazing time together. Our marriage is based on a strong commitment to each other, friendship, and faith. We thank God every day for the many blessings we enjoy. We have been led to adopt after our trials of infertility. We are confident that the Lord will bless us with a baby to love and nurture. We are so excited about what the future holds for us as parents and can’t even begin to list all the hopes and dreams we have for our family!

We live in a great community located about 30 minutes from both of our families. We love spending time together, are very close, and visit every weekend. We also have a supportive group of friends that we couldn’t be more proud of! Tom is the baby of five and Misty has a younger sister. Our friends and families are excited to share their love for a new baby.

Misty is an accountant and Tom is an HVAC Journeyman for a heat and air company. On the side, Misty does balloon decorating for weddings, birthday parties, etc., and Tom helps!  We love OSU, Misty’s alma mater, and enjoy going back for games. We like to take trips to the lake, go on mini vacations and sometimes we just load up and take a Sunday drive with the windows down! We have a black Lab named Bella who loves to join us on our outings! 

About Misty by Tom:

I know Misty will be an excellent mother. She is kind, caring, and thoughtful to everyone. I can hardly wait to see her face when a precious gift of life is placed in her arms for the first time. She is my soul mate, the only one for me, my whole world, and I don’t know what I’d do without her. She would do anything to help anyone and she will be equally dedicated to a child. She is such a wonderful person and I love her deeply. She will love and cherish our children because I know how much she loves me!     

About Tom by Misty:

I get so excited thinking about Tom becoming a daddy! He is the gentlest, kindest, most hard working, and loving man that I’ve ever met! I often wonder what I ever did without him. He is my companion and best friend, my loving husband and I am deeply blessed to be his wife. Tom melts my heart when he’s around our niece or other children. He always talks of the plans he has in store for our children. Tom is a man of honor and integrity.

Thank you for reading our letter. We’re praying for you and if we’re chosen to be your child’s adoptive parents, we will teach him or her to love and respect your decision to choose life. We will cherish and commit our lives to our children. God has laid His hand upon you and He will continue to guide you!
