Dear Birthmother,

We are Josh and Kellie and we live in Oklahoma.

We respect and love you for your decision to give life to your baby. We pray for God to bless you with peace as you consider your baby’s future.
 
Adoption was on our hearts from the start of our relationship. After being told we wouldn't conceive without costly infertility treatments, it was an easy transition to pursue adoption. We have overwhelming peace and understanding from the Lord, and are thrilled about the family God has hand picked for us through adoption!

Whoever receives one little child like this in my name, receives me.  Matthew 18:5

We met in 1999, and married in 2001. We're so happy to have found each other, and our favorite thing to do is laugh! We lead a very active lifestyle and we hope to one day travel around the world! Fishing and 4-wheeling are two of our favorite things to do, as well as watching movies, and cooking together. Kellie enjoys baking, decorating cakes and playing worship music on her guitar. Josh enjoys all water-sports and camping. We make every effort to have fun in everything we do!
 
Josh served as a Diver in the Navy for 6 years before separating to pursue his college education. He graduated with a Business degree in 2008, and is working towards his Master’s Degree. He recently began a new career with the government that is rewarding and challenging. There are many exciting opportunities in his future that will be wonderful for our family!  
 
Kellie runs a part-time business from home. She also works part-time as a nanny for a sweet baby boy, who she’s been watching since he was 6 months old. It’s been excellent training for motherhood and she thrives while nurturing children. A quiet walk with our two dogs, Jack and Brody often completes our day.
 
We are very close to our families and they're delighted we’re adopting! Josh’s family lives in Oklahoma and Kellie’s family lives in San Diego. This baby will be the first grandchild on both sides of the family, so there's great anticipation from all the grandparents!
 
Josh (by Kellie): Josh is the most loving and caring husband any girl could pray to find. He's very affectionate and sweet. He's also hilariously funny and the best storyteller! One of his admirable qualities is his willingness to become a loyal friend. He loves children and excels at teaching. Kids flock to him at church, he enjoys playing games, he's taught toddlers to swim, and coached high school lacrosse. God has prepared him to be a great dad!
 
Kellie (by Josh): From the day I met Kellie, she’s been the love of my life. Her compassion and love captivated me. Because of her deep affection, she’s accepted every opportunity to work in our church’s nursery or middle-school aged programs. It amazes me to see her work with kids, and many people have noticed the calming effect she has on babies. Kellie is also fluent in Sign Language, and is excited to teach our children. Kellie will be a stay at home mom, devoting all her love and nurturing abilities to our kids.
 
We attend a wonderful non-denominational, Bible-based church, and we willingly help out wherever we're needed. Currently we assist the youth group, which is a blessing! Our pastor is wonderful and we're thankful for such a loving church family. Our faith is what grounds us and our children will be brought up with Christ as their foundation. We look forward to teaching them!
 
Thank you for reading our letter. We're confident we can provide a loving, caring home for your baby. During these past 8 years, God has taught us and helped us to build a strong marriage. We are ready to be parents and dedicate our lives to our children. Whatever you choose, we know God’s will for your life, and ours, will be done.
 
But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.  Habakkuk 2:3
