To Our Birthmother, 

Our names are Jason and Charmaine and we live in Texas. 

We admire your courage and appreciate the loving decision you are making for your child. Although we have not met you, we believe you are a responsible and giving person. Thank you for caring so much that you want your baby to have the best possible future.

About Us: We are so excited to welcome another child into our family through the blessing of adoption. We have been married for seven years and have one biological son, Hunter, who is four years old. We are unable to have more children, but we believe God has already chosen a child to complete our family. We believe this child is predestined to be raised in our home from a loving birthmother who chose life for her baby. We have a strong, loving and committed marriage based on mutual respect, laughter, love and most importantly, Christ, who is the center of our household. We spend a lot of time with our church friends and families.

Jason and I enjoy doing things together and share many of the same hobbies, like water-skiing and water related activities. Traveling is one of our greatest passions. We have been on many wonderful and adventurous trips to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico and other incredible destinations. We look forward to taking additional fun family trips with our children.

About Charmaine: After graduating from Northwestern University, I traveled to Japan to teach English. I also visited China and Hong Kong with my mother. Upon returning to the States, I began working as a specialty sales representative for a pharmaceutical company. Now, I’m a stay-at-home mom and love being with Hunter to experience all of the little changes in his life. We believe that having a mom-at-home makes a big difference in a child’s development. I enjoy getting together with friends and their kids for play dates, taking Hunter swimming or taking a trip to the park. I remain active in our church serving in the children’s department and the Women’s Ministry. I also coordinate the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group. I’m eager to experience new things, enjoy cooking, and Hunter is becoming a Junior Chef too! My prayer is to be blessed with another child to complete our family. My life centers on family and planning fun activities.

Jason says of Charmaine, “I am so blessed to have found the love of my life. It was less than 3 months from our first date when I asked Charmaine to marry me. She is beautiful, smart, loving, determined and a terrific mother. I truly look forward to coming home everyday just to be with her and Hunter.”

About Jason: Jason is a Project Manager for a software development company. He loves fishing with Hunter at a pond close to our home and there’s always “Daddy” time when Jason gets home from work. They may wrestle in the living room, kick the soccer ball in the backyard, go bug hunting or pick flowers for Mommy! Jason has volunteered to help adults obtain their GED and he serves as head usher at our local church. Jason can fix almost anything around the house, he built our swing set, and enjoys working with wood. 

Charmaine says of Jason, “Jason is a devoted husband and a loving father. Family is incredibly important to him and he makes us his top priority. I love Jason for his caring, strong, and warm-hearted personality. We feel safe and secure with him. We always have so much fun together!”

About Hunter: Our son, Hunter, is a very loving, active, energetic 4 year-old. He’s excited about becoming a big brother! He asks about “our baby” and wonders when God will answer our prayers! Baking chocolate chip cookies with mom is a favorite activity as well as playing with our sweet Boxer, Bo.

About Our Families: We are very close to both of our families and they’re excited for us to adopt! Charmaine’s parents and two brothers live nearby and we spend family time swimming in her parents’ pool. We all love the water! Jason’s parents live a few hours away and own many acres where we hike and marvel at God’s creations. Jason’s sister lives a few hours away, so visiting family and playing with cousins is routine fun!
