Dear Expectant Mother,

We are Mark, Carla and Tyler and we live in Maryland.

We admire your courage, love and commitment to choose life for your baby. There are no words to express the respect we have for you as you consider adoption. We pray for you to know His peace as you select parents for your child.

Mark and I were high school sweethearts and have been happily married for over 18 years. After several years of unsuccessful infertility treatments and one miscarriage, God led us down a wonderful, but different path. In December 1995, we were blessed to become the adoptive Mom and Dad to a beautiful baby boy-- our son Tyler!

About Mark from Carla: Mark is a very loving person and provides a stable foundation for our family. I know that no matter what happens, he will stand by me. He makes our family his first priority in life and has a great amount of love to share with another child. Mark loves being a father, provides amazing guidance and has a wonderful relationship with Tyler. As a police officer and a volunteer fire fighter, Mark is dedicated to helping and serving our community. I am blessed to have Mark as a devoted husband and as my best friend.

About Carla from Mark: Carla is an attractive, intelligent and loving wife who has an enormous amount of love for children. She is a dedicated and caring mother as well as a hard worker. As an office manager for a multi-physician medical office, she is well respected and appreciated. She longs to see Tyler become a big brother and I pray for our dream to come true. Carla is my best friend and my true sole mate in life.

About Tyler from Mom and Dad: How do we describe our gift from God? Tyler is very bright, outgoing, kind, and has a HUGE heart! With his wonderful sense of humor, he can make a room full of people laugh! He has been the shining star in our lives since we first held him in our arms. Tyler is very active, loves to be outside, and keeps us busy with his involvement in many types of sports. He is very excited about becoming a big brother and anticipates loving a baby brother or sister. We believe Tyler will be a terrific big brother and we pray for the day that he meets his new sibling!

Our Family: Mark comes from a large family of 5 brothers and 5 sisters; Carla comes from a family of 3 brothers. Hugs and kisses are abundant in our family from Mom and Dad, grandmas, aunts, uncles, many cousins and lots of friends! We have a large extended family, we get together often, and we celebrate holidays with lots of quality time together. We enjoy the outdoors as well as vacationing with family and friends. Laughter is an important part of our lives and we like to play practical jokes on one another! Even though Mark and I dreamed for years about becoming a family, nothing could have prepared us for so much joy! We hope and pray to share our lives with your baby.

As God continues to lead our hearts to adopt again, we look forward to His answers to our prayers. If you choose us to parent your baby, he or she will know an abundance of love from a family who is committed to provide a happy, nurturing, secure, and safe future.
