Hello!

We are Todd and Kimberly and we live in Minnesota.

We want to THANK YOU for choosing LIFE for your child. We can't fathom what you are feeling as you sort through your emotions and seek a family to raise your child. We will be praying for you during this time. We believe God is preparing and directing our steps as He is preparing and directing you to find us. As a Christian couple that longs to become parents--it is by the grace of God and the loving sacrifice of a mother like you that we will have that opportunity. We believe you are a special woman who is making a very tough decision.

About us...Todd and I met through a mutual friend and have been married for 6 wonderful years; Todd has 2 beautiful children from a previous marriage. We have a solid marriage built on faith, love, trust and respect. We are each other's best friend and enjoy each other's company. We knew about our infertility issues prior to marriage and made the choice for adoption. The child you carry may be the answer to our prayers. We were both raised in loving, supportive Christian homes. We were taught to treat others with love, to pursue our dreams, to work hard and have fun, to honor our commitments, that honesty is the best policy and that laughter and a hug is often the best medicine.

We cherish our family time and how we spend it. We are a fun loving family that freely expresses our love for one another and give lots of hugs and kisses! We enjoy playing games, sitting around campfires as we tell stories and sing songs, picnics, biking, fishing or cruising on the family pontoon, bowling, taking walks, going to the zoo and swimming. We also enjoy taking trips around our beautiful state. We’re excited about re-visiting playgrounds, feeding the geese and ducks, going to parades, reading books, singing songs, doing crafts, blowing bubbles, building snowmen, sledding, snowball fights and making snow angels!

Todd through Kimberly's eyes...Todd is everything I prayed for in a man. He is the image of my father...a wonderful husband and an awesome dad. He finds joy in caring for his children and making sure their needs are met. His motto is, “I don't care what time of day or night it is....call me and I will be there for you.” Todd is very compassionate, patient, loving, understanding, sensitive, funny, hardworking, and a devoted family man. I love to see children gather around to play with him. Todd will be a great dad for your baby as he loves with his whole heart. He makes everyone around him feel special!

Kimberly through Todd's eyes...Kimberly is an excellent mom to Katie and Alex. I love to see her interact with them as she helps them learn, teaches them daily living skills or laughs with them as they play a game. At our wedding she suggested that my children light our unity candle with us to signify our unity as a family. Kim puts the needs of others before her own and looks for the good in people. She is very patient, deeply caring, kind and generous, and she demonstrates the love of Christ. She has a magnetic field that draws children to her and she has a radiant smile! She’ll be a loving mom to your baby as I have witnessed her dedication with my children, nieces, and nephews!

Katie (18) and Alexander (15) are both bi-racial (Sioux Indian) and live with their mother. Katie is a beautiful young woman who is talented in many instruments and loves to sing. She is caring, loving and eager to become a big sister! Alex is a handsome young man and enjoys league bowling, playing video games and watching sports. He is thoughtful and generous. He’s ready to become a big brother! 

Home is where the heart is...We live in a very diverse city and have excellent schools in the area. Our neighborhood is quiet and we can walk to parks, an outdoor pool, the library, enjoy walking paths and are a short drive to several lakes. Our gentle and friendly Shih tzu's are named Toia and Sophie. Both dogs have been handled by children since they were born and are “child proof”!

Our family...Todd is the youngest child of 3 and although his family lives in different states, they keep in touch by phone and email. His parents visit us for 3 weeks each year and we spend that time making precious memories. Kim is the middle of 3 and we all live close to each other. My immediate and extended families celebrate major holidays together. My newest cousin was born on December 14, 2007! Many of our friends and family have adopted children. They are very excited, supportive and are praying for us to be blessed with a baby.

Our church/second family...We attend a Christ centered church that is diverse and embraces adoption. We are involved in our church and attend regularly. We have worked in the Nursery, been Sunday School teachers and on the Worship Team. We also started a ministry to feed Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner to people in the community.

For this child I prayed...and the Lord has heard my prayers. 1 Samuel 1:27
