Hello Dear Birth Mother,
We're already praying for you! Our family has been praying for the plight of an orphan, who may be a birth mother needing a family. The Scriptures have been a faithful road map for our lives. Our deepest desire is to minister to the fatherless. We already love you and intercede daily for your future.
ABOUT US: We met during the summer of our junior and senior year of high school. Frank lived in Tennessee and I lived in Arkansas. We wrote each other and visited one another for 3 years. Our lives changed when Frank met the Lord Jesus Christ at a revival when he was 20. Frank led me to our precious Lord, 3 months later. As new Christians we were married 3 weeks later! We praise the Lord for our amazing journey together.
CHILDREN: After 4 years of marriage, Micah was born, who is now a college senior in Florida! Then God gave us 7 more children: Jordan (20, in college), Gabriel (18, working), Josiah (16, high school junior), Titus (14, high school freshman), Hannah (12, 7th grade), Candace (11, 6th grade), Bethany (8, 3rd grade).
We moved to West Virginia 2 years ago, as God led us to help the orphans or the "fatherless". After much prayer, Titus and I flew to Liberia, West Africa, about 18 months ago, and brought home 2 siblings. Varney was 3 then, but now Silas Varney is 5 and has started Kindergarten. His sister Jartu was 10 months old, and has grown in our beautiful 2 year old Chloe Jartu. Both children have been an amazing blessing to our family! Our children are involved in Awana, prayer ministry, interpretive dance, and choir.Frank was a pastor for 18 years, before he was called as a full time missionary. We serve 9 churches associated with the Tri-Co Baptist Association. We work with our Churches, help mission Churches with VBS, assist with block parties, support prayer walks, and serve in many ways. Our life is about serving the Lord! We play, work, and minister as a family as much as possible. Frank's office is in our home, so he's able to help out and spend lots of time with the children. He's a very patient, loving, and caring man. Frank always wears a smile and is ready to help anyone in need. As an only child, he has a blast with our large family! I love and thrive as a homemaker. I enjoy gardening, making crafts, scrapbooking, and reading. I travel to the Farmer's Market for fresh local foods, schedule our activities, keep everyone organized and going in the right direction! I also home school the children and have done so successfully.
We were thrilled when the Lord provided us with a large house! We have plenty of space for our office, the children's needs and are surrounded by woods, cows, and farms. We have a pool, trampoline, game room in the basement with a ping pong table, and tons of games to play. We enjoy skate boarding, playing sports, hiking, mountain climbing and vacations. We go to Washington D.C. and Florida beaches each year. We are "history nuts" and visit lots of battle fields and re-enactments. Our life is full of learning and enjoying everything to the fullest. Our extended families live in Arkansas and Tennessee. Even though it's difficult to be away from them, we visit yearly and correspond regularly. Cheryl's mother, sister and brother live in Arkansas. Frank's parents live in Tennessee.
Our family mission and goals are simple...that all of our children serve the Lord with a fire in their belly and a burning desire in their heart, to reach the world for Christ. We're here to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission..."Go out to all places, to people who speak all tongues, to invite them to come to the Lord's table." We're so excited to pray for you and your child!
