THE WOUNDED SPIRIT
by Frank Peretti
Wow, this was an eye-opening book. Mr. Peretti reveals his tormented childhood due to physical deformities and countless surgeries, which was a surprise, but also inspiring. He challenges us to stand against “bullies” in our culture. His personal experience sheds some interesting insight regarding the Columbine, CO shootings. By the end of the book, I was convinced—he had made his point. I’d like to see The Wounded Spirit become required reading for every school age child, especially for teens. This is an excellent book.
