Mr. Dunn penned this book in 1947, and updated it in 1972, when the book went through its 3rd printing, which speaks volumes about the popularity of Try Giving Yourself Away. The author’s basic premise is that we cannot “out give” God as we give with a cheerful heart. His book started a “trend” during these eras, which today is defined by the acronym RAK (Random Acts of Kindness). This book offers simple and practical ideas and ways to apply God’s basic laws of giving, sowing, and walking in love.
