BIBLES: SHARING GOD'S WORD AROUND THE WORLD

All personal names have been abbreviated to protect the lives of these believers.

Since 1996 we have been mailing Bibles and Christian books across the globe to remote areas of the world. Far too many Americans are not aware that BILLIONS of people have never heard of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that MILLIONS more want to hold a Bible, God's Holy Word in their hands. If even for a brief moment they beg to see a copy of God's Matchless Word.

Mailing Bibles to many countries has been an honor and a joy. Many of our contacts change their addresses every 6 months to avoid harassment from their governments. Thousands of born again ones are persecuted and tortured for the name of Jesus Christ. Many more simply hunger and thirst to know more about the one true God and to follow in the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ. Without a Bible, without knowledge, they are limited in their understanding and ministering to others.

At Christian Adoption, we have had the privilege of receiving letters from some of these believers in foreign lands, with foreign languages, and with completely different cultures. Please prayerfully read some of these touching and heart warming letters. If you are inspired to get more involved and to participate in this portion of our ministry--let us know and we will gladly receive your help and assistance.

Greetings to you all in the strong and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Thank you very much for the gift of Holy Bible you sent me. I appreciate this gift. Thanks also for the ministry of Christian Adoption. May God bless your ministry. We support you by our prayers! To give you brief introduction, I'm a pastor from southern Sudan who is currently a refugee in Uganda. I am married with 5 children. We are ministering in the refugee settlements and inside south Sudan. The Lord's work is progressing in Sudan regardless of the difficult situation facing the people. I.E.: war, hunger, diseases, slavery, etc. We thank God that the whole world is now aware of the great suffering the people of south Sudan are undergoing in the hands of the Muslim Arabs. For over 45 years now! But our hope is in the Lord Jesus!

May God bless you and your family. I want to thank you for all what you did to me. The book you sent to me, I received them all. It is good books to me, it will help me in my spiritual work and it will also help me to pray for those who are tortured in prison. That they should be released from prison. It's my desire to help those who suffer because of Jesus. I should keep them in my prayer. We as Christians, we have responsible to pray for those who are tortured, even we do not see each other. How can I become involved in your ministry? If you want to know my short stories, it is like this: I am now 26 year old, a minister in the local church. I server God and His church. I give all of my time to serve God's people. I received Jesus Christ as my Savoir and Lord before 7 year. I have an interest to read and study God's Word. We salute you in the name of our Lord and Savior. Thank you very much for the Bibles that you sent. The Bibles were give out the same day they were received. The demand was high. Brothers in the name of Jesus we have a special request to make to you. We have tried to ask for assistance from organizations that are not Christian without success. We have realized that the only people we can depend upon for help are those who have the love of Jesus. Jesus had a heart for the disabled people. God in the book of Leviticus shows that one portion of the church offering was for the poor. In is in view of this that we make a humble appeal for material and financial help to enable us to start some income generating activities for us to sustain our selves. As long as we remain unemployed we will continue being looked down upon as dependants, beggars, useless people in society, yet it is because we are not supported and given the opportunity. Our objectives are to reduce dependence syndrome among the disabled by creating self help employment through projects like any other people and give the opportunity can contribute to development. Provide counseling sessions to parents of disabled children. Facilitate enrollment of disabled children into schools. You are the help through which God will bless the disabled and the poor. We have no regret that we are disabled, we want to change the people's perception of a disabled person.  God bless you,
