RE-INVENTING THE WHEEL
It's true-we admit it!
We've been re-inventing the wheel when it comes to the adoption process. Well, not we--we are just the laborers that endeavor to follow God's lead and direction. We don't have any degrees in Physics, we don't own stock in a rubber company, and Edison was not our ancestor, but re-inventing the wheel in adoption has been exciting! Christian Adoption is a dynamic service--we grow and we change. Each new day brings new challenges, new issues, experiences, and inspiration. God continues to pour out His grace, His mercy, and His loving kindness upon our ministry and upon those that list with us. We are humbled, we are thankful, and God's perfect timing and deliverance amaze us.
Like a fish swimming against the tide in the choppy waters of adoption, we are blessed to be re-inventing the wheel for Christians seeking to adopt a child. Our service is unique, our ministry is one of a kind, our intent is genuine, our commitment is full, and our integrity is beyond compare. Yes, we speak highly of our ministry---for our trust is in God, in His ability to deliver, in His ability to guide and to direct, and in His gracious mercy. We are fully convicted that God has opened special doors for our service, that He continues to bless our efforts, and that He will continue to "make a way where there is no way." We are sure of His faithfulness, we are humbled by God's perfect timing, sense of humor, and the "champagne" adoptions that occur. Truly we have witnessed how great and how good our heavenly Father is--to those that call upon His name.
We pray for God to lead and to direct Christians to us. We pray for birth parents to seek Christian homes for their child placements. We pray for God to direct our steps and to answer our prayers. As of this writing (August 5, 2007), we have had the joy of being associated with 268 adoptions/births in just 129 months! (1 of those placements/births was in 1996 [when we began Christian Adoption]; 35 in 1997 & 1998; 28 in 1999; 27 in 2000; 23 in 2001; 31 in 2002; 28 in 2003; 32 in 2004; 20 in 2005; 27 in 2006; 16 so far in 2007!)
It is challenging to explore uncharted waters, it is fun to look to the future with confidence, and it is interesting to re-invent the wheel in adoption.
