"I don't know how a woman could give her child to a stranger."
"What kind of mother is a woman that places her baby with someone else?"
"That's so selfish of women to consider adoption."
"Not me, I'd never give my baby to someone else."
"What's the big deal about having children?"
"Can't you just be happy with your life as it is?"
"Why do you want kids that badly?"
"Maybe you should let it go?"
"Kids aren't that special, why is it so important to you?"
"Are you sure you'll be able to keep the baby?"
"Are you prepared for how terrible it'll be if the birthmom changes her mind?"
"I'm sorry that she didn't place her baby with you, there will be more I'm sure."
"Get over it."
"Will it really be your own child, even though you didn't give birth?"
"Are you sure you can love that child completely?"
"Enjoy your sleep now, because you're in for sleep deprivation."
"You'd better get ready for that baby, your life is going to change--big time."
"You can't do that anymore when you get your baby."
"You'll be tied down when you get your baby."
