Our journey began about 9 years ago. God directed our path to Christian Adoption through friends at our church.

We'll be forever thankful and blessed by our experience. It's important to enjoy the "ride" and continue to seek God's clear (not mysterious) plan for your family.

He is faithful to open and close doors for those who seek His will for their lives.

Our attorney was the wonderful. She's an adoptive mom herself and the majority of her practice is adoptive law. We also had two attorneys that partnered with us out of state; they also were very knowledgeable. Our process went rather quickly (in legal terms), although it seemed like an eternity while we traveled the journey to our son.

Remember, no two journeys or adoptions are alike. They're all as individual as each child God creates. Be assured that your experience will be unique in many ways, but similar to others. Deborah will stand by you and help you.

I discovered that our adoption journey was about a lot more than becoming a parent. We grew up as we developed a wonderful dependency upon God.

We gained an amazing group of prayer partners and friends through Christian Adoption.

We listed with Christian Adoption and "matched" within 3 months. We held our son exactly 5 months after going online with Christian Adoption.

My cousin and his wife listed with Christian Adoption the following year. They welcomed their daughter a little over a year later.

The "how long" is a variable. But what isn't a variable is that each couple ultimately becomes parents through the ministry of Christian Adoption.

Those that are led by God to Christian Adoption can experience amazing spiritual growth through the ministry.

I recommend every couple to commit themselves to prayer about listing with Christian Adoption.

God will give you peace if this is His guidance for your family.
