Dear Birthparent,

We are Josh, Kellie, and Nathan, and we live in Pennsylvania.

We first want to say we love and respect you for your decision to give life to your baby. We pray for God to bless you with peace as you consider your baby’s future.

We met in 1999, and married in 2001. We are so happy to have found each other, and our favorite thing to do is laugh! We lead a very fun and active lifestyle and someday, we hope to travel the world! We also love to watch movies and cook together. We make every effort to have fun in everything we do!

We were led to adoption in 2009 as a means to grow our family. We were so blessed to welcome our son Nathan Joshua into our family in February of 2010, through Christian Adoption. Nathan is the most tremendous blessing we have ever received! We are ready to welcome another baby into our family, and are so excited for Nathan to be a big brother!  

Whoever receives one little child like this in My name, receives Me.  Matthew 18:5

Josh served as a Diver in the Navy for 6 years before separating to pursue his college education. He graduated with a Business degree in 2008, and is currently working towards his master’s degree. He has a very rewarding career working for the government that offers many exciting opportunities that would be wonderful for our family! He enjoys working out at the gym before work, and taking Nathan running in the jogging stroller after dinner.

Kellie currently is a stay at home mom to our son Nathan. She also works part time as a photographer. It was a talent she didn’t know she had until Nathan came along, and she realized how much she loved taking pictures of kids. She steadily is growing her business, and hopes to one day open her own studio! She is also attending an online university part time, working towards her bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. She enjoys taking Nathan to the park, and to play dates with many of her friends, some of which are also adoptive parents.

We are very close to our families and they are delighted that we would like to adopt another baby! They all just adore Nathan so much! Josh’s family lives in Oklahoma and Kellie’s family lives in California where we love to travel on vacation. We all make every effort to spend as much time together as possible, and our families also travel to us. We use Skype and send pictures and videos almost daily so they don’t miss a thing! We look forward to moving closer to our family someday soon.

Josh (by Kellie): Josh is the most loving and caring husband any girl could ask for. He is very affectionate and sweet. He is also hilariously funny and the best storyteller! To know him is to love him, and everyone is his best friend. He is excellent with kids! He has done everything from teaching toddlers how to swim, to coaching a high school lacrosse team. Nathan absolutely adores him, and gets so excited when he sees Josh’s truck pull up at the end of the workday. He also loves to wrestle around on the floor with Josh, and loves to watch cartoons on Saturday morning on Josh’s lap.

Kellie (by Josh): From the day I met her, she’s been the love of my life. Her compassion and love captivated me. She’s taken every opportunity to work in our church’s nursery or middle-school aged programs. It amazes me to see her work with kids, and many people have noticed the calming effect she has on their children. She has been so patient and wonderful with Nathan from day one. He loves her and always seeks after her warm snuggles. They enjoy reading books together, and he loves to be tickled by mama! I am blessed to be able to see her be a mother, and she is such a blessing to me, and Nathan.  

Nathan is our 2 year old son, and he is such a sweet and silly boy! Seeing him play with other kids his age shows me what a wonderful big brother he will truly be. He is smiling and laughing all day long, and he loves to be chased and tickled! He is also very affectionate and loves to snuggle. Nathan absolutely lights up around other kids and our hearts are so excited for the day we welcome another child into our family! He will love having a playmate! Nathan is a total water baby and would spend the entire day outside if he could! He also loves going for walks, or hikes through the woods in his hiking backpack. We went camping last fall and he had a blast! He easily adapts to new situations and loves to go on adventures with mom and dad!  

We attend a wonderful non-denominational, Bible-based church, and we love to help out wherever we can! Our pastor is wonderful and we are thankful for such a loving church family. Our faith is what grounds us, and our children will be brought up with Christ as their foundation. 

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28

Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We are confident that we can provide a loving, caring home for your baby. After 10 years of marriage, we are thankful that God blessed us with a great foundation to truly make our marriage strong! Having Nathan has only made us stronger as a family unit, and we look forward to adding another child to complete our family. It is our prayer that God’s love will surround you and He will lay peace on your heart as you prayerfully consider the future of you and your child.  

But these things I plan won’t happen right away.  Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled.  If it seems slow, be patient!  For it will surely take place.  It will not be late by a single day.  Habakkuk 2:3
