ABOUT OUR CATEGORIES
We have listed Christians on our web site in several categories to assist birth parents, birth grandparents, friends/family, and adoption professionals in locating Christians that are willing to consider the adoption of children based on various criteria. The Christians listed in each category have a desire and a willingness to consider the adoption of children in any of these categories. However, we have advised them to prayerfully consider each situation presented to them before responding.
Please consider these terms when selecting a category on our web site.
Bi-racial refers to any child with a heritage of 2 races. For example: children that are ½ Hispanic & ½ Caucasian; or ½ Native American Indian & ½ Cuban; or ½ Filipino & ½ Hispanic; or ½ Korean & 1/2 African American are all considered Bi-racial. The combinations are endless.
Multi-racial refers to any child with a heritage of more than 2 races. For example: children that are ½ Hispanic & ¼ Hawaiian & ¼ Caucasian; or ¼ African American & ¼ Native American Indian & ½ East Indian; or ¼ Portuguese & ¼ Hawaiian & ½ Caucasian are all considered Multi-racial. The combinations are endless.
Some birth parents/birth families are looking for Christians that live in a specific state or region in the United States.
Some birth parents/birth families are looking for Christians that already have children (biological or adopted), as well as if they own pets.
Some birth parents/birth families are looking for Christians that are willing to consider the adoption of older children, sibling groups, special needs children, and/or twins.
Our goal in offering a variety of categories, is to assist birth parents in their search for specific criteria for placement. Our prayer is that birth parents will seek God's guidance about the adoptive couple/family they consider for placement.
Our Christian couples/families are listed in many of these different categories. It is our hope that their profiles are read over and over again, that they are considered time and time again, and that their faces leave a lasting impression in every viewer's mind.
