I'M SURE ABOUT MY DECISION

Dear Deborah,

...I just wanted to write you to tell you some things.  As you know I am kind of shy and that is why I am writing this to you.  I really didn't talk much about this whole situation.  I might not have seemed to show any feelings or emotion.  It was hard for me to give up my baby boy, but that little time that I got to know you and Eddie helped me to be sure of my decision.  I know that you really have a lot of love and that you will take good care of him.  I wouldn't want anyone else in the whole world to be raising him than the two of you.  I am so glad that my Mom found you.  I think about him all the time, but I don't worry about him, because I know he is alright.  Just one more thing--I want to thank you for taking him.
