Merry Christmas Deborah!

It is only moments before Christmas day and in the quiet of this moment, I am reflecting on one year ago. I had come home from church service, and found our profile was online with a Merry Christmas message from you!  Now, 12 months later, my tree is full of presents for my three precious babies and my heart is full of gratitude to God, to Christian Adoption, to agency workers, to my attorney, and to the birthmothers, who gave in love, unselfishly, completely, and graciously.

For so many Christmas holidays in the past, I shared in the joy of watching my nieces and nephews with a sad heart. Christmas really brings home the loneliness of life without children and so, when God does bring those children to you, it is that much sweeter.

I've been so exhausted lately (for 10 months to be exact) that I sometimes forget to be grateful. Entwined in my exhaustion is EXTREME gratitude, joy and love beyond anything I could ever have imagined. In my daily chores, of work from sun-up to sun-down, are 3 very precious lives. While I toil, they grow and learn. In the very mundane tasks of my everyday life their very life takes place.

Thank you Deborah for being a part of my dream come true. Thank you for your Christmas gift last year which led to my precious Allison and for your words of wisdom when Satan tried to take her away from us and for your support and understanding when Charles came and we HAD to bring him home. He was, just like Branson and Allison, always meant to be here with us.
