...I hate to see you go. You are such a special person. I have no doubt God hand-picked you for Nathaniel and me. You have such a special way about you, I am truly blessed to have had you become a part of my life. I've thanked God, 100 x's over since we met in person and became friends. I am so happy that you are Nathaniel's Mommy--you're GREAT!...
...You are so much more than I ever hoped for. You're wonderful parents and I know God had Nathaniel planned for you. I'm so grateful to you. Thank you for being the parents that HE DESERVES!" I hope you save my letters for him. I met a man who was adopted and as we spoke he made a comment on how he never wanted to know his birthmom because she "threw him away" and this really bothered me. I want Nathaniel to be able to follow some of my life through my letters...
...I'm so grateful you are Nathaniel's Mom. I know there is no one in the world that could love and take care of him better than you. He looks so happy in his pictures. Thank you a million times over. There isn't a way to express how grateful and happy it makes me to see how wonderful he is growing up and your devotion as Mommy. I know it takes so much to be patient and loving all the time. I know there would be no way Nathaniel would have gotten that with me raising him. He is so blessed. We both loved him so much to sacrifice ourselves for him. I know you will be sacrificing your time and energy to raise him right and you'll have a great reward, a beautiful son. I sacrificed a lot of heartache and tears but in the long run I have a reward of knowing in my heart he has the best parents he could ever wish for. My tears now are joy every time I see new pictures. There are so many things he will experience in life that his brother won't . I'm grateful you are able to help Nathaniel and me in improving our lives. I love you...

I wanted to share some of Joleen's notes. I was so very touched and moved. I've read them over many times. I pray for her, the birthfather, and their children daily. I especially pray for their salvation and hope that they will see and know God personally. That is my prayer.
