ENJOY YOUR CHAMPAGNE

Many times after someone has successfully adopted a child, they want to come right back online and climb onto the roller coaster ride of adoption again. Often there is a presumption that if one adoption process took "this long", so will another adoption process. Without realizing it, these Christians are limiting God's ability to bless and to answer their prayers. They are using their five senses and analyzing how one adoption blessing happened and conclude another adoption blessing will happen in the same manner. Just as children are uniquely different, each having their own personality, so is each adoption process. Consult with anyone that has adopted more than once, and they will confirm this statement.
We understand why Christians desire to adopt more than one child. God's Word states that children are a blessing. We understand the concerns and fears of anyone that has had a challenging adoption experience.
We empathize with anyone that prays as earnestly for another child, as they did for their first blessing. However, God is God and He is able and willing to help, guide, direct, and deliver His people, as they trust in Him.
God is not limited in His abilities or in His methods to simply BLESS THE BOOTIES RIGHT OFF YOUR CURRENT CHILD'S FEET! God is our loving Father that delights in surprising you and blessing you beyond measure. HE is REALLY BIG, and REALLY POWERFUL, and HE RARELY DELIVERS HIS PEOPLE IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY TWICE.
With these truths in mind, we encourage you to relax a little. Enjoy the blessing of your most recent adoption. Continue in prayer for another child, but take the time to enjoy your champagne blessing.
Champagne tastes best when it is sipped slowly and enjoyed.
